Jost Van Dyke
Yacht Charters

A truly breathtaking paradise and a popular destination for yacht charters, Jost Van Dyke is the smallest of the four main islands of the British Virgin Islands at just four miles long.

The stunning natural beauty of the island was borne of a volcano in the Caribbean Sea.

Its magnificent scenery includes lush green forests, crystal clear turquoise water in countless hues, and soft, velvety white sand. From the highest point, Roach Hill at 1054 feet (321 meters), you can view the entire island and its awe-inspiring beauty.

Great Harbor is the center of Jost Van Dyke. It is where most of the town’s restaurants, bars and services are located. There are approximately 220 residents on this idyllic island, 180 of whom are native.

Known as the barefoot island, Jost Van Dyke boasts a contagious casual lifestyle, fine beaches, protected anchorages, and always hopping beachfront restaurants and bars. Jost Van Dyke is a must to visit on your BVI yacht charter vacation.

Chartering in the Jost Van Dyke: When to Go?

The high season for yacht charters in Jost Van Dyke is mid-December through mid-April. The season is particularly busy around the holidays – Christmas and New Year’s – and during Antigua Sailing Week.

During late spring and summer, many yachts relocate to other charter areas, making it more difficult to charter a yacht in the low season.
