Yacht Charters
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Dubrovnik is one of the most attractive Croatian yacht charter destinations.
When it comes to Croatia’s splendid Dalmatian coast, Dubrovnik is the crown jewel. (In fact, you’ll hear it called the “pearl of the Adriatic.”) Each year, this preserved medieval city ranks as a top Adriatic destination for yacht charters, and it makes sense. Dubrovnik is an Old World charmer.
With its Baroque-style buildings dating to the 13th and 14th centuries, marble-clad streets and ancient city walls, Dubrovnik is wrapped in antiquity, while offering the luxury and Mediterranean comforts of any European city.
Dubrovnik’s Old Town – which earned UNESCO World Heritage Site designation – transports you back in time. Protected by ancient city walls, Old Town’s narrow streets and marble-paved Stradum, one of the most picturesque piazzas in all of Europe, offer yacht charters a chance to people watch, grab a cocktail, or simply to gawk at Dubrovnik’s beautiful sights.
Dubrovnik offers something for everyone – hidden cocktail bars and enotecas, preserved architecture and museums, hiking, and water sports.

Old Town Walls
Dubrovnik might be one of the best preserved cities in all of Europe.
Dubrovnik might be one of the best preserved cities in all of Europe, and the ancient marble walls that line Old Town prove it. The city’s walls date to the 10th century, and separate Dubrovnik from the sparkling Adriatic. Home to four fortresses, one at each corner – including Minceta Tower, Revelin Fortress, St. John’s Fortress and Bokar Bastion – yacht charter guests can walk along the walls and simultaneously learn about Croatia’s rich history.
Stradun
Stradun is a see-it-to-believe-it piazza.
As you enter the Old Town through Pile Gate, take the winding, narrow streets to the heart of Dubrovnik: Stradun, otherwise known as “Placa.” Bordered by the Franciscan Monastery, Church of St. Blaise and Rector’s Palace, Stradun is a see-it-to-believe-it piazza that’s a center of Croatian history. As ancient as it is beautiful, Stradun is the perfect place for a glass of Dalmatian wine, shopping, or tasting the catch of the day.
Rector’s Palace
Once home to the Rector of Croatia.
Once home to the Rector of Croatia, Rector’s Palace is, today, the Dubrovnik city museum. Originally designed by Onofrio della Cava, the same man who designed Onofrio’s fountain in Stradum, this building has undergone numerous preservation and restoration efforts, due to the fact that it was nearly destroyed after the 1667 earthquake.
Restaurants Galore
Dubrovnik’s many eateries and restaurants showcase the finest in Dalmatian cuisine.

Check out Ragusa 2, a chic Old Town restaurant that serves local, fresh-caught seafood with coastal Croatian flair. Wine connoisseurs can sample the region’s finest wines at several Dubrovnik wine bars like Enoteka Terra. Plus, many of the city’s restaurants are converted 13th and 14th-century buildings, providing timeless ambiance.
Dubrovnik’s Cable Car
Head to the top of Srd Hill for panoramic views of Old Town.
Since 1969, visitors to Dubrovnik have flocked to the top of Srd Hill for panoramic views of Old Town and the nearby Elaphiti islands. In fact, on clear days, you can see nearly 40 miles out to sea. Looking for an adventure? Hike along the crest of Srd Hill to a secluded neighboring fort for incredible Adriatic views – the perfect spot for an afternoon picnic.
